The traveling tonics – Jajja wellness products making waves

(Saint Paul, MN) Jajja is a company all about honoring tradition, great values and good health. From a small start-up in his home office, Mr. Henry Kisitu, CEO, is growing his organic beverage company now to reach the masses. He brings his grandmother’s recipe from Uganda, mixes it with inspiration from Hawaii (where he recently lived), and is now sharing it with the Twin Cities.

We recently had the opportunity to get a taste of his vision during an interview with Henry. “Our vision is to produce healthy and wholesome beverage products designed to taste good and make you feel good. Jajja draws inspiration from an old traditional Ugandan recipe that has emerged again in Hawaii, and now to the mainland. We want our customers, our employees, and our community to live in good health. We aim to minimize harm to the environment where we live. This is the only earth we have, and we believe that it is our duty to be good stewards of the land. We believe in engaging in preventive health care and view our juices as tonics that support the wellbeing of our friends, neighbors and fellow community members. It is my belief that we are all connected – think of it this way…when you cut a tree down in a way you are affecting yourself indirectly. Throughout my life, I have come to realize that there is no better way of understanding the connectedness that exists between us more than losing both your parents at the young age of 3, as I have. I’ve learned how valuable everyone around me truly is. We are all important to one another, our health matters, and this is what our mission and vision is reflecting.” said Henry.

With a heart of gold, and a vision to create a healthier world one tonic at a time, he is taking his mission, and inspiration from Grandma (Jajja) Margaret’s to communities around the world. Thanks to Henry and Jajja Wellness, the world is becoming a better place.
